Evento realizado pela ABIH-RJ fortalece economia local e gera empregos
O Projeto de Capacitação de Operadores de Turismo e Agências de Viagens (Procap-RJ), promovido pela Associação Brasileira da Indústria de Hotéis do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (ABIH-RJ), reuniu durante os dias 7 a 9 de agosto diversos profissionais com o objetivo de fortalecer o turismo e a economia do Vale do Café. O encontro ocorreu na Estação do Trem na Praça de Ipiabas, em Barra do Piraí.
Durante os três dias de imersão nas belezas naturais e nos investimentos em equipamentos de lazer, o evento alcançou um notável sucesso em fomentar a economia regional. O coordenador da ABIH-RJ, Alexandre Moraes, destacou que a expectativa foi amplamente superada, com um aumento estimado em mais de 50% na geração de empregos e um triplicado fluxo turístico, especialmente nos finais de semana (de quinta a domingo).
“É uma região repleta de atrativos e investimentos em lazer, como o avião metaverso aqui em Ipiabas, que atrai turistas de diversas localidades. Tudo isso, aliado à beleza natural do Vale do Café, encantou a todos”, afirmou Alexandre Moraes. Ele acrescentou que os efeitos positivos sobre o turismo já são evidentes com o anúncio de novas pousadas em Barra do Piraí.
Mário Esteves, prefeito de Barra do Piraí, enalteceu a região do Vale do Café, comparando-a favoravelmente aos roteiros turísticos tradicionais do país. Durante a cerimônia de encerramento do Procap-RJ, ele afirmou que os investimentos em lazer e turismo regional resultarão em uma duplicação no número de turistas na cidade.
O projeto de Mário Esteves inclui, além do avião metaverso, a implementação de uma maria-fumaça para passeios até a Vila de Casarões Históricos do século XIX, uma das atrações do Vale do Café, juntamente com outros equipamentos de lazer programados para iniciar ainda este ano.
Além disso, a programação de abertura ocorreu no IPITOWN, também em Ipiabas, com a participação de 35 atores do trade turístico local, incluindo representantes de hotéis, restaurantes, pontos turísticos, associações e entidades de classe, bem como instituições parceiras do Turismo, como o Sebrae Rio e o Senac RJ.
A programação de imersão incluiu visitas de inspeção aos empreendimentos hoteleiros da região, como o Hotel Fazenda Ribeirão, Pousada Vale do Café, Pousada Blues, Pousada Por do Sol, Hotel Fazenda Império do Vale, Pousada Brisas do Vale, Pousada Abbud e Fernandes, juntamente com visitas aos principais pontos turísticos, como a cervejaria Dupai, Casa da Intuição, Parada do Chocolate, Muito Além de um Jardim, Avião Metaverso e Parque Aquático Aldeia das Águas, entre outros. Também foram apresentados os atrativos gastronômicos, incluindo os restaurantes Apreciar, Armazém da Colina e Fazenda do Vale, este último famoso por sua feijoada.
Wanderson Faria, assessor especial da Secretaria de Turismo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, ressaltou que essa é uma maneira de apresentar os atrativos da região, gerando empregos e impulsionando a economia.
“O trabalho que realizamos no Vale do Café é mostrar nossos atrativos, incluindo Conservatória, nossa ‘Tiradentes regional’, e Vassouras, com suas históricas fazendas, entre outras inúmeras atrações que incentivam os turistas a explorar as belezas da nossa região”, concluiu Wanderson.
O Procap-RJ interior teve sua primeira edição em Petrópolis, em maio de 2021, e, em pouco mais de um ano, percorreu o Vale do Café, alguns municípios da Região da Costa do Sol, a Costa Verde, Teresópolis e Nova Friburgo. Idealizada pela ABIH-RJ, a iniciativa contou desta vez com a parceria da Secretaria de Turismo de Barra do Piraí e do COMTUR do município, além do apoio da Setur-RJ e TurisRio, Sicomércio de Barra do Piraí, Sebrae Rio, Senac RJ, ABAV RJ, BITO, CIETH-RJ, Viação Útil (Expresso Guanabara), Top transfer e Didu Jeep.
